MUA Nail Constellations Review

Heey!
I'd been so excited for these to come out, they are a dupe for the Ciate Nail Caviar kits, but they cost a fraction of the price! It took ages for either of my local Superdrugs to get them in, I was checking literally everyday for them!

They are the new MUA Nail Constellation beads, which are 'inspired by the constellations of stars in the sky'. They come in the above five colours, and I just think they are beautiful. They are £2.50 at the moment. The only colour that I managed to get was Libra, but I can't wait to get Leo, which looks amazing.
(apologies for the bad quality picture, the colours looked a lot more vibrant in real life)
Pros
It was pretty easy to do, you just need to do one nail at a time, you paint your nail with your chosen polish (I used a lilac Miss Sporty one) and then whilst it's still wet you sprinkle the beads from the applicator onto your nail until it is covered in the beads. You then gently press down on the beads to 'glue' them into the polish and let dry for a good 20 minutes.
I wasn't expecting these to last long at all, but with a topcoat they lasted about five days before temptation took over and I just HAD to pick the beads off. (I am absolutely terrible for picking my nail polish off without noticing, having these little beads was very tempting to pick off - I think five days was pretty good)
Cons
The applicator really annoyed me, as the end is so small so that it doesn't let too many beads out at once. But I found that to get any beads out I actually had to shake the bottle like a salt shaker to cover my nails, which made loads of beads go into my little bowl that I was doing my nails over. This is fine as it didn't waste any, it just annoyed me to have to shake the bottle.
Obviously having somethig foreign and 3D on my nails was wierd, but I did get used to them. The only thing that annoyed me was that the beads kept getting caught in my hair. But this is obviously unavoidable.

Overall, these are awesome, I got lots of complements on my nails and I couldn't stop admiring my nails. £2.50 is an amazing price too and they lasted a good long while.

Boots Botanics Review

Hey!
So Boots have recently given their Botanics range a makeover. The packaging has all changed, and a whole host of new products have emerged. Boots Botanics is a brand that is focused on using natural organic ingredients in skincare products. In fact, the products are developed with Kew Royal Botanic Gardens.
So, Boots have introduced all of these new products as lower introductory prices, so I thought I'd buy a few bits to try out whilst they're still on offer.
I bought the Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm, Rosewater Toning Spritz and the All Bright Hydrating Day Cream.
The Rosewater Toning Spritz was £3.33, and will be £4.99 after the offer. This toner claims to 'Enliven your senses and refresh your skin'. The only other toners I've really used is Tea Tree water from Lush, which is in a similar spray bottle. I've been using this a lot, after cleansing and I am really enjoying it. It does feel lovely on your skin and you get 150ml, which for the price you pay is amazing.
The Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm was the product I was most excited to try as I've never used a hot cloth cleanser. This was out of stock in several Boots stores that I've been into, and when I picked this one up it was the last one, so I can tell it's pretty popular. The packaging says that the product 'draws out impurities and cleanses and smoothes'. I love this. I've been using it morning and evening since I bought it, after using a clearasil face wash to get my skin extra clean. It smells natural, and it has a vaseline-type consistency, and after I've massaged it over my face it looks like I have just smeared petroleum jelly over my face, but it feels lovely on the skin. The packaging says to soak the muslin cloth (which is provided in the box) in hot/warm water and use it as a warm compress over the face to draw out impurities. I do this several times and then polish the remaining balm off with the cloth. The box also says to then soak the cloth in cold water and put it over your face to close your pores, but I like to skip this step and just spritz on the Rosewater toner instead. I love this product, every time I use it I feel like I'm giving myself a mini-facial and my skin feels lovely after using it. This is £5.99 at the moment, and will be priced at £8.99, so if I were you I'd go and buy whilst it's still so cheap! :)

This day cream claims to hydrate the skin for 24hours. It has SPF of 15 in it, which is great, as I never ever buy a day cream/moisturiser unless it has SPF in it. It has brighening Hibiscus flower, which is brightening on the skin as it has naturally occuring AHA's in it which act as gentle exfoliators to smooth and brighten the skin. I have used this twice now and I like it. The cream is a pinky colour, and it smells nice, I don't know if that's the Hibiscus flower in it. I can't say I've noticed a massive difference on the skin brightening, but I do think that it is very good for keeping my skin hydrated, as my skin doesn't feel nearly as dry as it usually does hours after using moisturiser. This is £3.33 at the moment, and will be £4.99. There is also a matching Night cream too, which I think I may buy as I do like this cream.

Maybelline Goodies!

Hi! Sorry it's been like a month since I posted... :/
So, Maybelline is 3 for 2 in Superdrug and Boots at the moment, so I saw this as a great chance to try the colour tattoo cream eyeshadows I've heard SO many good things about! This is what I got:
So I got the Dream Fresh BB cream in light, the Colour Tattoo in Turquoise Forever, and the Colour Sensational Lip Tint Pen in Wink of Pink.

I have used the BB cream and I think that as BB creams go, it's pretty standard. It has SPF of 30 which is brill, and it's got the highest SPF of all of my BB creams. The coverage is okay, and it feels good on my skin. As it only comes in three shades, the colour is a little dark for my skin but that's not a massive problem when I have tan on. Overall, an okay BB cream, nothing to write home about.
This is the first lip tint I've used and I am not impressed. I don't know if I just bought a bad pen or if it had been opened or used or dried up, but the colour payoff is terrible and I feel like I have to literally colour in my lips vigourously to get any colour. It does last a while once it's on my lips, but I am very disappointed with this product.

To end this post on a high note, I LOVE this product. I have used this several times since I got it and the colour is amazing, and it does last for ages. I defiantely want to get more of these, I have my eye on the purple one.

Thankyou for reading! Please comment below, do you own any of these products?
